Summer fun!

Hello! I have decided to start a blog to try and keep everyone up to date with what I have been up to! This past summer I was back on Mackinac Island and it was a busy summer! This was my first year as the Lead Historic House Interpreter; the job was a lot of work, but it was worth the long hours. I had five new staff members to train, so it was both challenging and entertaining! My job was a new adventure everyday! This blog will be mostly pictures, but I will make sure to put captions so you know what is going on! I hope this helps and feel free to call me anytime to catch up!

Here is a little of what I have been up to......

This is just a great picture! So random!

This is what happens when you make Claire and I get up at 7 to take picture of the boys playing around in blue wool.

My last fire of the season in the Biddle House. I miss cooking over an open fire!:(

We melted a pot holder in the dutch over. It smelled horrible, but the apple spice bread that Andrea cooked was rather AWESOME!
