Loads of fun to be had.....

Hello,

It has been a while....sorry....posting takes a really long time, maybe if I did it more often it wouldn't (hahaha) but I have been keeping pretty busy! :) Every week seems to go by faster than the previous week.....time is flying! I have seen a lot of the city, but still have loads to explore. A family friend gave me a bike and it has allowed me to go out and see Alexandria and the surrounding area via bike trails; biking is by far (in my opinion of course) the best way to see a city. I am making a lot of new friends....I will definitely miss them when I leave!

The Treasury interns have determined that the Treasury trumps EVERYTHING, because we control the money! :) I LOVE working for the Treasury.......IT IS AMAZING!!!! :)

My cousins took me to the Prime Rib for dinner! It was delicious! :)

I made pasties and they were AMAZING!!!!! Look how pretty they are! :)

I got to go to a meeting in the World Bank....it is SOOO modern inside! It is quite the site to see! :)

I blew up a bottle of wine....ops! Notice the neck is way over to the side! Hahaha
She is recording history......this is my favorite statue.
We got a tour of the Capitol.....it is SOOO PRETTY!:)

The Capitol.....the ceiling in the Statue room.

I would not want the job of cleaning this.....but it is AMAZING!

This is where George Washington was supposed to be buried, but in his will he wanted to be buried at Mount Vernon.....and this tomb was quite ready for him when he died.
I forget who this is.... The original Supreme Court
